Already spent the last ten minutes trying to fix our blog title, we obviously spelled "calma" wrong. Hopefully none of our brazilian friends criticize us.
We woke up from our atrocious hangovers, not feeling warm and fuzzy anymore, and had a long day of goodbyes. Lots of internal and external, mostly external crying. Ellis cried about eight times and rocked her sweet glasses which in fact drew more attention to her than crying would have, thus defeating the purpose, but it still looked sweet.
Point is, we miss you all already and this blog is dedicated to our wonderful SIT group. We mostly just can´t live without your banter and since we can´t travel with you, this is the closest we can get to having you with us at all times.
Bullet Points:
Ate two liters of Açai and two dinners. Both look pregnant
Didn´t know where George was until he showed up at the house, never having been there before. Needless to say, we were eating Açai and didn´t get up to greet him, but let him find us in the kitchen, Açai dripping from our mouths (picture Ellis).
George no longer wants to go solzinho (confirmed)
My (Taylor) mom serenaded me in front of the entire family, and George and Ellis. It was hilarious, and I "surprisingly" started sobbing even though I could only understand half the words.
So pretty much nothing has happened yet, just eating and waiting and saying goodbye. Only four more hours until our flight, enough time for several garrafas of cerpa. Hope you all got home safe.
Beijos,
Taylor, Ellis, George

This blog may get me through 8 hour days in an office. Obrigado gatinhas!
ReplyDeleteP.s. Sorry about not coming to airport, the "transaction costs" were above my leftover money of 6 reais and our car is broken. Don't hate me. :)
